"A Christmas Carol" is the quintessential Christmas story.
A fantastical social commentary about redemption and second chances. Inspired by Charles Dickens' public readings, this "one-man" stage adaptation aims to rediscover its original form.

London 1843 on Christmas Eve. Despite the foggy cold and the widespread poverty of the time, people's joy fills the streets resounding with Christmas songs. That evening everyone seemed happy, apart from Ebenezer Scrooge, one of the richest and unhappiest men in town. Enslaved by his own selfishness and so miserable that he would not spend even a penny for himself, Christmas was just a waste of time for Scrooge. However, that very night, the ghosts of his deceased partner decided to pay him a visit, and from that moment, Scrooge was never the same again.

Jud Charlton: actor for theatre and cinema. Graduated atthe Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Twice winner of Best Actor Award at the National Student Drama Festival with the Young Vic. Nominated Best Actor, Stage Magazines Award for Acting Excellence Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008.
