Lesc Dubrov Lesc Dubrov, the Lithuanian president of the Labor and Ethics Commission of the European Union, is visiting Italy to give an important speech on workers' rights. Since he doesn't know our language, he decided to have the text translated by the most cynical and underpaid of his employees: Achille the translator.

The audience actively participates in the Achilles' sabotage (Deus ex machina of the comedy show), who carries out his diabolical plan of revenge by ruining the speech of the unfortunate politician.

With gestures and mimic that remind Chaplin, Dubrov is forced to dance, sing and suffer Achilles' most petty harassment. The President does not understand. His very dignity is questioned.

What the authors themselves define "the most wrong speech ever" it is a wicked crescendo of surreal situations; a refined mechanism of revenge thanks to which the exploited man becomes master of himself, and the theatre recovers its ancient modernity, rediscovering itself as a utopian mirror of the times.

The Speech is an unusual experience, hence the audience will be transformed, from victim of the power to executioner of the powerful.

“As in the times of Shakespeare and Molière, in this meta-comedy where the audience is spectator/character, we get back to the glories of pure, original, elegant, extrovert and rich comedy”.
Alessandro Bianchi

“A comedy that refuses any labels; a renewed genre that mixes all the nuances of comedy theatre, from satire to nonsense; a courageous and unprecedented project”.
